History:  Lt. Colonel Mark Jackson started his military career graduating from the Robotech Acadamy in 2010.  Stationed at Alaska base during the Zentraedi rain of death, he was one of the few pilots that escaped that inferno.  He was later stationed at RDF Mexico City during the Malcontent uprisings.  When the SDF-3 left with the REF forces, Colonel Jackson decided to stay behind on Earth.  During the Second Robotech War he was given command of the New Albuquerque base.  There he remains trying to hold back the numerous waves of  rogue Robotech Masters that remain in the south west.

History:  Nachaev joined the RDF in 2009 transferring from the Eastern Co-prosperity Forces when he sensed the opportunity to further his own interest.  As a young Captain he was assigned on Senator Russo staff where he had the opportunity to meet with Colonel Edwards.  Edwards convinced Nachaev to come with him on the REF mission where Nachaev has been slowly climbing through the ranks.  In 2030, he was promoted to Read Admiral in Command of the 9th REF Fleet.  He would gladly sacrifice any of his pilots to accomplish a mission that would gather him acclaim.

History:  Originally assigned to the 23rd REF Marine Division, Hunt was ordered to Karbarra two months ago after an altercation with his commanding officer.  Hunt has decided that time away from combat is in his case, is time not well spent.  He spends little time in his office and can be found in the nearby bars drinking his tour of duty on Karbarra away.

History:  K'zerk was born during the Karbarran uprisings against the Robotech Masters.  As he grew up he participated in numerous acts of terrorism against the Zentraedi forces stationed on the planet.  Unfortunately, during a mission to destroy a mecha base his group was destroyed only sparing himself.  Contacted by Invid agents on Karbarra after the incident, K'zrek agreed to help them by providing intelligence on the Zentraedi.  Once the Invid invaded, he quickly decided that the Invid  were no different than the Robotech Masters which they  replaced.  Since that time and after the subsequent REF liberation, he has kept his Invid contacts waiting the day to deal the Invid a deadly blow.

History:  C'tek provides his services to the highest bidder.  Currently, the Invid are offering C'tek free reign in the remaining planets that they still control in return for the use of his operatives on Karbarra.  They have recently supplied the Invid with a Karabarran modified VAF-6, for which C'tek is making sure that the Invid pay dearly.  He will turn his back on his newfound allies if either:  their protoculture runs out or someone else reimburses at a greater rate.

History:  Trem was transformed into a stage 4 Invid some 10 years ago and the Regent has been pleased ever since.  He stayed behind on Karbarra after the Invid left the planet all the while gathering intelligence and relaying it back to Optera.  Trem has hopes that he will be promoted eventually to hive commander on one of the front line planets.
