CHAPTER 2 - UNWANTED GUESTS

Introduction:  You have been dispatched to airspace where unidentified flying objects have been detected by long-range reconnaissance planes.

Mission: 

• Investigate UFOs and eliminate them if they are hostile

Location:  Terrestrial Air

Recommended Mecha:  VF-1A

Opponents: 

• Fighter Pods (100%)

Notes:  This is a standard aerospace mission.  Try to keep a missile volley in reserve for use as a decoy pod.  Use your boost in fighter mode to outrun and out maneuver the incoming Fighter Pods (FP).

Notes:  Pick out a fighter pod and fire two missile volleys at it.  If it has not been destroyed, finish it off with a couple of short bursts from your GU-11 cannon.

Notes:  Several waves of FPs will enter into the battlespace.

Notes:  After all the Fighter Pods have been destroyed, the mission has been successfully completed.
