CHAPTER 5 - SHOW DOWN

Introduction:  As the battle creeps closer to Base 6, you have been ordered to fall back and protect the many civilian refugees, who have taken shelter in the bunkers on the base perimeter.

Mission: 

• Destroy Kiyora and protect the civilians

Location:  Base 6

Mecha:  VF-1S, or VF-1J if the added armor is necessary

Opponents: 

• Kiyrora in Female Power Armor
• Zentraedi Fighter Pods

Notes:  Finally you are going to finish off Kiyora, this has been a long time in coming.

Notes:  Transform into guardian and unleash a volley of missiles and cannons bursts at Kiyora; however, quickly transform into fighter mode and start your evasive maneuvers.  Although there are other Zentraedi mecha in the area, they will not fire on your and thus should be ignored.  This is going to be a one-on-one fight between you and Kiyora.

Notes:  Like the Graveyard mission. fly in circles around the inside of the valley always saving a missile volley for use as a decoy pod and firing off your missiles once she is in line of sight.

 Notes:  Occasionally Kiyora will land to target the civilian bunkers, transform into guardian or battloid mode using the circle strafe attacks used in the previous levels.  Once she refocuses her efforts on your veritech transform into fighter and resume the circle-fire tactics mentioned previously.

Notes:  Eventually, after firing untold number of missiles the threat from Kiyora will be eliminated.

Notes:  Once Kiyora is killed the mission is over.
