- Based on an original mecha design presented in Macross Tactical Handbook
BACKGROUND
"The most fearsome Zentraedi mecha and a plague to all who resist
us," with those words the first Queadlunn-Rau Shock Amour entered into production at
the end of the Disciple of Zor (DoZ) rebellion. Designed to destroy anything either
the Invid or the DoZ armies could throw at it, the Queadlunn-Nna takes much from its
predecessor the Queadlunn-Rau. The basic body shape remains the same as the standard
Female power armor. However, internally there are substantial differences. The
armor was substantially improved through the use advanced low-mass
composite-materials Chobham plating. This gave the Queadlunn-Nna nearly twice as
much armor than the standard Female power armor. In addition, the highly
advanced Inertial Piloting System was improved to include an Artificial Intelligence Unit.
The AI unit can take control of the mecha if the pilot is disabled or fire and
dodge for specific weapons if the pilot so chooses.
The weapons were significantly upgraded. Two 2 x Zoet'Qerr-9X
protoculture generators were added. These generators were the first of a new
generation of highly compact light weight, but efficient sources of power and allowed the
Queadlunn-Nna to mount more energy intensive weapons, unlike the Queadlunn-Rau. Two
PB-10a advanced particle beam cannons and two PL-4 advanced tri-barreled pulse lasers were
mounted in the chest and the arms respectfully. The highly effective missile
complement on the Queadlunn-Rau were improved. The two shoulder SL-21a missile
launchers were replaced with a single SL-100 launcher capable of firing 100 short range
missiles in a single devastating volley. The two leg mount SL-21 launchers were
kept.
The Queadlunn-Nna never made it past the experimental stage. Only
200 units were produced and tested in the elite units of the empire. Most of these were
destroyed in the numerous fights with the Invid at the end of the Master's reign.
However, some 10 were transferred to Breiti's recovery fleet. All of these units
were destroyed during the subsequent battles with the SDF-1 or in the final attack with
Dolza above Earth on June 18, 2011. However, rumors persist that a single unit
survived the Rain of Death and continues to operate in South America as part of a
Zentraedi malcontent group.

WEAPON SYSTEMS:
- 2x PB-10a PARTICLE BEAM CANNON: The Queadlunn has replaced the ineffectfual IC-H
79.2 mm autocannon with the proven PB-10 particle beam cannon found on all Regult Battle
Pods. The cannon can fire single shots of 2.5 MJ for each of its four barrels.
The single difference between the PB-10 and PB-10a is that the 10a has
substantially more range because of its more advanced targeting and focusing coils.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault/Defense
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-mecha
- RANGE: 2000 m
- DAMAGE: 1d10 for each barrel or 1d4*10 for all four firing at once
- RATE OF FIRE: Equal to the total hand to hand attacks of the pilot
- PAYLOAD: Unlimited
- 2x 3 PL-4 PULSE LASER: The PL-3 pulse lasers were upgraded to the more advanced
PL-4. The newer PL-4 proved more advanced in every catagory with better range, rate
of fire, and damage potential. Each barrel can fire 5.0 MJ laser pulses up to 80 times a
minute.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault/Defense
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-mecha
- RANGE: 3500 m
- DAMAGE: 4d6 for each barrel or 1d6*10 for all four firing at once
- RATE OF FIRE: Equal to the total hand to hand attacks of the pilot
- PAYLOAD: Unlimited
- 1 x SL-100: Although the Female power armor possessed
up until that time the largest array of short range missiles on any single mecha, the
Robotech Masters decided to increase the payload on the Queadlunn-Nna even further.
A single SL-100 missile launcher was mounted on the back torso. This launcher was
designed to carry 100 Maggot Universal Dogfight missiles and could fire all in one
concerted effort.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault/Defense
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-mecha
- RANGE: Varies with missile type
- DAMAGE: Varies with missile type
- RATE OF FIRE: One at a time or in volloys of 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32, 64, or all 100.
- PAYLOAD: 100 short range missiles
- 2 x SL-21: The standard SL-21 missile launchers found on the
Queadlunn Rau were kept. Each launcher carries 21 Maggot Universal Dogfight
missiles, without any reloads.
- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assault/Defense
- SECONDARY PURPOSE: Anti-mecha
- RANGE: Varies with missile type
- DAMAGE: Varies with missile type
- RATE OF FIRE: One at a time or in volleys of 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, or all 21
- PAYLOAD: 21 short range missiles per leg launcher

- Leap Kick: 2d6*3
- Leap Kick: 2d6*3
- Body Block/Tackle: 2D6*3.
- Stomp: 1d4*3 MDC (only effective against small objects)
STANDARD EQUIPMENT FOR FEMALE SHOCK ARMOR:
- COMBAT COMPUTER: The combat computer can identify and track 48 targets.
- LONG RANGE SPHERICAL RADAR: The Queadlunn-Nna possesses a long range radar
with a range of 150 km.
- EXTERNAL AUDIO PICKUP: Range: 300 ft (91.5 m). A sound amplification system that
can pick up normal conversation up to 300 feet away.
- HEAT AND RADIATION SHIELDS: Special shielding prevents the penetration of life
threatening heat and radiation. A radiation detection and alarm system are linked with the
shields and will sound an alarm if there is a rupture in the shields and what the levels
of radiation are.
- LASER TARGETING SYSTEM: Range: 50 miles (160 km). Used for increased accuracy in
the striking of enemy targets and is partly responsible for the mecha's strike bonus.
- LOUDSPEAKER: A loudspeaker system is built into the craft, which can be used to
amplify the pilot's voice up to 90 decibels.
- OPTICS: NIGHTVISION: Range: 2000 feet (610 m). A passive light image intensifier
that emits no light of its own, but relies on ambient light which is electronically
amplified to produce a visible picture.
- OPTICS: THERMAL IMAGER: Range: 2000 feet (610 m). A passive optical heat sensor
that detects infrared radiation projected by warm objects and converts that data into a
false-color visible image. The system enables the pilot to see in the dark, in shadows,
and through smoke, and also adds a +10% bonus to pilots using a tracking skill.
- OPTICS: Telescopic optics (x10 magnification)
- RADIO/VIDEO COMMUNICATION: Long range, directional communications system with
satellite relay capabilities. Range: 600 miles (960 km) or can be boosted indefinitely via
satellite relay.
- LOW POWER BROAD BAND SENSOR JAMMER:These systems can be used to jam both sensors
and missiles; however the Zentraedi systems are no where near the effectiveness of the REF
or the Robotech Masters
COMBAT BONUSES FOR QUEADLUNN-NNA:
- 4 attacks per melee (plus those of the pilot)
- +5 to roll with the punch
- +3 to strike
- +4 to parry
- +6 to dodge (+9 in space)
- Critical strike are the same as the pilot's hand to hand
